Blitz Jong Community Guidelines and Enforcement
1. The short version
Play to win, not to ruin someone else's evening. Four rules:
- Play fair. No cheats, bots, scripts, or third-party software that plays for you or reads hidden information.
- Don't rig matches. No win-trading, no deliberately feeding a friend, no coordinating with other players in ranked matches.
- Keep names clean. Your display name is shown to everyone you play against.
- Don't grief. No deliberate disconnecting to dodge a loss, no stalling the clock to run others out of patience.
2. What we act on
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Cheating | Automation or bots, modified clients, packet manipulation, information tools that reveal hidden tiles |
| Match manipulation | Win-trading, collusive play, deliberate dealing-in to a partner, rank boosting for or by another person |
| Account abuse | Multiple accounts to farm rewards or dodge penalties, account sharing, buying/selling accounts |
| Economy abuse | Exploiting bugs for coins or items, real-money trading outside the mechanisms we provide, payment fraud |
| Abusive identity | Display names that are hateful, sexual, threatening, impersonating a real person or us, or promoting illegal activity |
| Griefing | Repeated deliberate disconnects, deliberate stalling, harassment through gameplay |
3. What happens
Enforcement is graduated. For a first, non-serious incident we prefer the lightest action that stops it.
| Level | Action | Typical trigger |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Warning | First minor incident (a name that needs changing, one-off griefing report) |
| 2 | Forced name change | Display name violates Section 2 |
| 3 | Temporary suspension (hours to days) | Repeat griefing, reward abuse, first confirmed collusion |
| 4 | Permanent suspension | Cheating, payment fraud, real-money trading, repeat serious violations |
| n/a | Recovery of items or currency | Anything obtained through a bug, exploit, fraud, or a reversed payment. Applied alongside any level above, and also on its own where no penalty is warranted |
Recovery of wrongly obtained items is not a punishment and can happen without any suspension. Conversely, a suspension does not by itself remove items you obtained legitimately.
Cheating and payment fraud can result in immediate permanent suspension without a prior warning. Everything else normally escalates.
4. How to report someone
Email support at [email protected] with your account name, the approximate time of the match, and what happened. We look the match up from that, so you do not need to explain it turn by turn.
What to expect:
- We review reports against the match record; we do not act on a report count alone.
- We do not tell you what action was taken against another player. That is their account information.
- Reporting in bad faith, such as mass-reporting someone you lost to or brigading, is itself a violation.
5. If you are penalized
Suspended accounts see the reason and the expiry (if any) at sign-in. To appeal, email [email protected] from the address on the account, with your account name. We will look again at the underlying record. Appeals of automated detections always get human review; we do not permanently suspend accounts on a purely automated signal.
Evading a suspension with another account extends the original penalty.
