Blitz Jong Refund Policy
1. Scope
This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for purchases related to Blitz Jong (the "Service"), operated by MarcoHard LLC. It supplements our Terms of Service; where the Terms and this Policy differ on refunds, this Policy controls.
Coins are the only thing purchased with money. Coins are the in-game virtual currency, and all items are purchased with coins rather than with money directly.
Coins may be purchased:
- on Steam, from your Steam Wallet, through Valve's in-app purchase system;
- on our website, from our payment partner acting as merchant of record;
- in a mobile app, through the app store, where available.
Everything else in the game, including drop crates, quest rewards and the items they contain, is granted free of charge and is never sold. There is no purchase to refund, and no paid crate keys, paid random draws, or paid gacha of any kind exist in the Service.
2. Who to ask
Refunds are handled by whoever took your payment, not by us:
| Where you bought coins | Payment taken by | Ask them | Their policy |
|---|---|---|---|
| On Steam (Steam Wallet) | Valve | Steam Support | Steam Refund Policy |
| On our website | Our merchant of record (currently Xsolla) | The merchant of record, via the receipt email or their support | Merchant of record's refund policy |
| In a mobile app (future) | Apple / Google | The app store | The store's policy |
Items purchased with coins are not a separate payment. A request concerning such an item is a request concerning the coin purchase that funded it; Section 4 sets out what happens to the item.
We cannot reverse a charge we never received. Contact us at [email protected] and we will help you reach the right place, and we can fix anything that went wrong inside the game (see Section 5).
3. Statutory rights (EU, UK, and similar)
If consumer law gives you a right to withdraw from a distance contract (14 days in the EU/UK), it applies to your purchase of coins. Because digital content is delivered immediately, at checkout you are asked to (a) consent to immediate delivery and (b) acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once delivery begins. If you do not give that consent, delivery waits until the withdrawal period ends.
Nothing in this Policy limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law, including remedies for content that is faulty, not as described, or never delivered.
4. What is refundable, and what happens to what you already spent
4.1 Unspent coins. A refunded coin purchase removes the coins that purchase added to your balance. Because we refund the amount actually credited at the time of the purchase, a later change to what a coin pack contains does not change what is taken back.
4.2 Coins you already spent. If you spent the refunded coins on items, we recover those items and return the coins used to buy them to your balance, then deduct the refunded amount. The net effect is that the money and the goods both go back.
4.3 Negative balances. If the recovery cannot be completed exactly, for example because you spent free bonus coins in between, your balance may go negative. A negative balance blocks further purchases until it is cleared by a new purchase or by us; we do not pursue you for it.
4.4 Items and progress that are not refundable. We do not refund: (a) items obtained free of charge (drops, quest rewards); (b) rank, statistics, or match outcomes; (c) purchases made by someone with access to your account, unless the access was unauthorized and you report it promptly; (d) irreversible progress deliberately consumed by an in-game action, where the item's own description says so before you confirm it.
5. Things we do fix (game-side)
Contact [email protected] if:
- you paid and the coins never arrived (include the order ID from your receipt);
- you received the wrong item, or an amount other than the one shown at checkout;
- a bug or a service outage caused the loss of something you paid for.
We will correct the account state by crediting what is owed or restoring the item. This is a service correction, not a payment refund, and does not require a chargeback.
6. Chargebacks
If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer instead of asking for a refund, the same recovery in Section 4 applies once the dispute is resolved against the transaction.
Filing a dispute is your right and we do not penalize you for using it. Accounts are suspended only for evidence of payment fraud, such as repeated disputes over successfully delivered purchases or use of payment credentials that are not yours, and never merely because a dispute was filed.
7. Account closure and service discontinuation
7.1 Closing or deleting your account forfeits unspent coins and items without refund, as stated in the Terms.
7.2 If we permanently discontinue the Service, we will give notice as described in the Terms. We do not promise a cash refund of unspent coins on discontinuation; where local law requires a remedy for prepaid balances, we will follow it.
8. Changes
We may update this Policy. Changes apply to purchases made after the effective date.
